It&#8217;s the only station starting with W that I&#8217;ve received since starting to DX again. This is despite KRLA Glendale being on the same frequency, as well as a Mexican station I haven&#8217;t identified yet.<\/p>\n<p>I was using a Tecsun PL-880 held perpendicular to KRLA, effectively nulling it out enough to let WWL through. First I heard a reference to The Saints, which wasn&#8217;t conclusive of course. Then it faded out. A while later it returned, and I heard somebody mention Southeast Louisiana. It returned for a third time and I clearly heard somebody say WWL, New Orleans. It was only audible for less than a minute each time. I haven&#8217;t heard it since then, although I check frequently.<\/p>\n<p>So was this an anomaly? I don&#8217;t know, but it&#8217;s the kind of thing that keeps things interesting.
